This ministry emphasizes slowing down and managing your time to maximize spiritual growth and includes a blog from author Alan Fadling (An Unhurried Life, IVP). Larry Crabb is a Christian psychologist who discovered spiritual formation many years ago and has written some excellent books on spiritual growth over the years. He has a strong emphasis on soul care and his book Soul Talk is highly recommended for developing deep relationships. Other books include Inside Out, Connecting, Shattered Dreams, Fully Alive, and Becoming a True Spiritual Community. He also has an excellent spiritual direction training program. He has courses on soul care you can take online for free or for credit at Our Daily Bread Christian University.

This ministry focuses on doing soul care for leaders through retreats in Colorado. Check them out if you are interested in a retreat. There are also many other ministries offering spiritual life retreats throughout the country.

Renovare Ministries, founder Richard Foster, https://renovare.org/

As author of Celebration of Discipline in the 70’s Richard Foster is one of pioneers of the modern spiritual formation movement. Renovare is the ministry he developed and it is probably the biggest spiritual formation ministry in America, perhaps even worldwide.  The site includes many resources including links to books, articles, blogs, group resources, and a podcast. The Renovare ministry sponsors conferences, retreats, and a covenant community. Definitely make a visit.
