We all want to make wise decisions in our lives, but where can we find the best wisdom? Yahweh gives wisdom, knowledge and understanding. When we look to him and his words we gain the highest knowledge, the deepest understanding and the most profound wisdom.
Consider the lives of those who do not seek the Lord, who embrace the wisdom of the world around them. Their lives have limited purpose, limited love, limited good. When we abide in the Lord we gain wisdom that the world cannot understand because we follow the upside-down ideas of God’s kingdom. We die to self, sacrifice for others and love our enemies so that we can display God’s goodness to all. Our reward is a heart at peace that blesses others and gains a treasure in heaven that no one can steal.
